Renowned Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has provided confirmation of Saudi interest in securing the services of Napoli's Slovakian midfielder, Stanislav Lobotka, during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Saudi clubs are actively seeking to bolster their squads with top international stars, as seen with Al-Nasr's acquisition of Portuguese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo, and Al-Ittihad's signings of French duo Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.
Lobotka, aged 28, is currently under contract with Napoli until the summer of 2027, having played a key role in leading his team to the Serie A title last season.
Taking to Twitter, Romano announced that both Al-Ahly and Al-Nasr clubs have expressed interest in securing the services of Lobotka, acknowledging him as one of the standout players in the Italian league during the previous season.
Romano also highlighted that Napoli considers Lobotka to be an integral player and an essential part of their long-term project, as evidenced by his recent contract extension.

Italian club Napoli announced today that they have extended the contract of Slovakian midfielder Stanislav Lobotka for an additional four seasons, taking his stay at the club until 2027, with an option to further extend it until 2028.
In an official statement, Napoli declared, "We are pleased to announce the contract extension of Stanislav Lobotka until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of an extension until June 30, 2028."
Lobotka, aged 28, has become a vital figure in coach Luciano Spalletti's starting lineup since his arrival in 2021. The midfielder has been instrumental in Napoli's midfield, making 99 appearances for the Italian side since joining in January 2020 from Spanish club Celta Vigo for a fee of €24 million.
During his time at Napoli, Lobotka has contributed two goals and played a key role in securing the team's triumph in the Italian Cup during the 2019-2020 season.
