Singh understood the significance of providing ample room for her pets to feel at home. With an annual rent of Dh100,000, she enjoys the luxury of living in a spacious apartment with stunning views of the iconic Burj Khalifa. Singh graciously invited The National to explore her abode and share why there's truly no place like home.

Why did you choose this location over others?

When searching for a new home, our priority was finding a residence with sufficient space to cater to the needs of our dogs. Securing a sizable apartment in this vibrant part of town can be challenging. However, our current dwelling offers a generous 1,800 square meters, featuring two bedrooms. The proximity to the canal holds significant value for us, as it grants us the opportunity to take the dogs for walks and engage in cycling activities. Additionally, being within a stone's throw of Dubai Mall is a bonus, especially when entertaining family and friends. And let's not forget the unobstructed view of the Burj Khalifa and the captivating cityscape from our balcony.

What amenities and features do you enjoy here?

Aside from the breathtaking Burj Khalifa view, we have access to exceptional facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. The building also houses a 24-hour shop, salon, and restaurant, eliminating the need to venture far for daily conveniences.

Do you believe you're getting your money's worth?

Absolutely! Especially when I hear about the prices others are paying for their current residences. This apartment provides a lovely, spacious environment, which is crucial for us as dog owners. Moreover, the balcony offers a magnificent vista that truly enhances our living experience.

What do you appreciate most about your location?

The dog-friendly atmosphere is undoubtedly the highlight. Dubai, in general, is known for its pet-friendly nature. However, it's often challenging to find safe and open spaces for dog activities amidst heavy traffic. Fortunately, our area grants us unlimited access to wide-open spaces, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our four-legged companions.

How have you personalized your home to create a sense of belonging?

Given that we are tenants, we haven't made extensive modifications to the space. Our priority was to ensure our dogs have the freedom to move around comfortably, which is why we've opted for minimal clutter. Maximizing the advantages of a spacious home is vital to us, and overcrowding it would undermine that purpose.
