Coconut Oil
Coconut oil repairs damaged and broken hair, helps prevent hair loss as well as promotes hair growth. Because of its moisture-preserving properties, coconut oil stays inside the hair instead of evaporating, making it one of the most effective dry hair treatments out there.
In addition, coconut oil is full of fatty acids, so it penetrates deep into the hair and gives it a silky and shiny look.
How is it used?
Since coconut oil is a solid at room temperature, it is recommended to heat and melt it slightly, which makes it much easier to use. For dry hair, apply to hair and roots, leave for 30 minutes to an hour, then rinse with a natural and organic shampoo.
Repeat this process once a week.
Argan oil
Argan oil, also known as Moroccan oil, is extracted from the nuts of the argan tree found in Morocco. It is an oil full of beneficial ingredients such as vitamin E, ferulic acid, and fatty acids, as well as antioxidants that fight UV rays and prevent damage to hair cells. Just a few drops of argan oil will not only protect your hair from heat, it will also nourish and moisturize it, reducing dryness and frizziness.
Argan oil is not as greasy as coconut oil, so it is ideal for frequent use.
How to use it
Put a few drops of argan oil on your palm, rub your hands together and spread it evenly through your hair avoiding the roots. Use it daily for best results.
Grape seed oil
Grapeseed oil contains vitamin E and linoleic acid that allows the scalp and hair to maintain moisture balance and also prevents dryness and dandruff and gives hair strength and shine.
In addition, grapeseed oil is used as a natural sunscreen just like argan oil.
How to use
Grapeseed oil is a very strong oil, so it is recommended to dilute it with other oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, or almond oil.
You can apply the prepared mixture on your hair and leave it overnight as a mask.
You can also mix grapeseed oil with aloe vera gel and apply this mixture to your hair and leave it overnight.
Castor oil
Castor oil is extracted from castor beans. It is beneficial for hair growth, as it contains vital qualities such as vitamin E9, minerals and proteins. It also contains antioxidants that support the keratin in the hair, making it stronger, smoother, and healthier. It offers other great benefits like controlling hair fall, fighting scalp infections and dandruff (due to its anti-fungal properties), conditioning and moisturizing hair, and preventing split ends.
How to use it
Castor oil has a thick consistency, so it's best to mix just a few drops of it with another carrier oil (such as olive or coconut oil). Apply to the scalp and wash off the next day. Repeat this process weekly or as needed.
