The documentary will feature never-before-seen archival footage of XXXTENTACION, providing one of the most comprehensive looks at the 20-year-old star who was murdered in 2018.
As part of the impending documentary, the deceased star's family and a number of his ex-girlfriends were interviewed and participated in discussions. The documentary, titled Look at Me! after one of his most popular compositions, will premiere exclusively on Hulu on May 26 at 3:00 AM ET.
"Look At Me: XXXTENTACION examines how Florida teen Jahseh Onfroy became one of the most streamed artists on the planet, SoundCloud rapper XXXTENTACION. Through candid commentary from family, friends, and romantic partners, and unseen archival footage, director Sabah Folayan provides a nuanced portrait of an artist whose acts of violence, raw musical talent, and open struggles with mental health left an indelible mark on his generation before his death at age 20."
Sabah Folayan directed and executive produced the Hulu Original documentary, which also features Rob Stone, Cleopatra Bernard, and Soloman Sobande, as well as Darcy McKinnon and Chloe Campion as producers.

"For someone who is struggling openly to put that on stage and offer it to the public is, in my opinion, a very special type of bravery and service that artists perform." [X] was candid about his problems. He didn't necessarily win his battle before we lost him, but he gave us a platform to discuss mental illness and his internal conflict.
Audiences saw never-before-seen archival footage of the legendary late artist in a trailer released prior to the documentary's premiere, as well as clips featuring discussions and remarks from the rapper's team, family, and former girlfriends.
Reportedly, XXXTENTACION, whose actual name was Jahseh Onfroy, was charged with 15 crimes in 2018 stemming from domestic violence incidents that occurred during his 2016 relationship with Geneva Ayala. Ayala, whose voice is prominently featured throughout the documentary, does not avoid discussing his challenges.
With his 2015 breakthrough single Look At Me!, the rapper became a divisive figure in the music industry almost immediately. After receiving praise from the younger demographic, the pompous and boisterous song reached the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
In conjunction with his debut album, 17, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, Look At Me! propelled the rapper into the limelight.
