Conclusion of Israeli Military Operation in Jenin Amidst Rising Casualties
Following a two-day large-scale military operation in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli army declared its conclusion after a devastating toll of 12 Palestinians and one Israeli soldier killed. The operation specifically targeted the city of Jenin, known as a stronghold for various armed Palestinian groups, involving the deployment of hundreds of troops, drone strikes, and armored bulldozers. The extensive incursion left the crowded refugee camp in Jenin heavily damaged, displacing around 3,000 residents.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the urgent need for the international community to come together and work towards achieving peace in the region while preventing further violations of ceasefire agreements. The UAE reaffirmed its support for all regional and international efforts in this regard. Sheikh Abdullah also called for an end to actions that hinder the realization of a two-state solution, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, based on the borders of 1967.
