Dubai RTA to Resume Ferry Services to Sharjah in August
ubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to resume its ferry service to Sharjah on Friday, August 4, bringing back a convenient transportation option for commuters.

Dubai-Sharjah Ferry Service Resumes: Schedule and Fares
The ferry service, initially launched in 2019 prior to the Covid pandemic, will now operate seven days a week, providing efficient shuttles between Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah. The journey between these two stations is expected to take around 35 minutes, offering a time-efficient alternative for travelers.
Sharjah-Dubai Ferry Schedule for Weekdays (Monday to Thursday) Announced
On weekdays (Monday to Thursday), the ferry schedule will include two morning journeys from Sharjah at 7 am and 8:30 am, as well as a single morning journey from Dubai at 7:45 am. In the evening, passengers can avail themselves of two journeys from Sharjah at 4:45 pm and 6:15 pm, while three journeys will be available from Dubai at 4 pm, 5:30 pm, and 7 pm.

Expanded Weekend Ferry Schedule for Sharjah-Dubai Route (Friday to Sunday)
During the weekends (Friday to Sunday), the ferry service will enhance its offerings, providing three journeys from each side starting at noon. Additional departure times from Sharjah will be at 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm, while the journeys from Dubai will commence at 3 pm, 5 pm, and 8 pm.
Ferry Ticket Fares Announced for Sharjah-Dubai Route: Dh15 for Silver Class and Dh25 for Gold Class
The ticket fares for this convenient ferry service are Dh15 for the Silver Class and Dh25 for the Gold Class. However, it is noteworthy that disabled passengers and children under the age of five will be exempt from charges and can enjoy the ferry service free of cost.
